Five and 1/2 hours north of Detroit and 3 hours west of Toronto is a little dirt road. It winds around and opens up to a beautiful azure blue body of water called Stokes Bay. This is the place that I come to defragment, if you will. I have made this journey every summer since I was in the womb. My poppa built a cabin for all of us by hand, section by section in his garage until it was finished and it still stands today, just as it was when he was here. It is a magical place, full of, well, anything you want it to be full of....and the beer is good too.
